CUSTOMS BRIDGE WINNER OF START-UP CONTEST 2022

Customs Bridge won the Start-Up Contest 2022 trophy at SITL, the Transport and Logistics Innovation Week, for its AI-based solution that simplifies customs declaration.

With a pitch formula extended to 5 minutes, compared to only 2 minutes in previous years, the SITL Start-Up Contest allowed the six candidate-finalists to better present their offer or project to the Jury members.

Charles Devaux, co-founder and sales director of Customs Bridge made a quality pitch based on an anecdote that underlined the importance of a good customs declaration at import.

It was in 2021 that Customs Bridge commercialized its innovative classification solution. The start-up is not stopping there and is currently developing two other complementary functionalities: regulatory monitoring and customs-based auditing.

These new features make sense in a constantly changing regulatory context: new rules resulting from the Brexit, new European framework for the import of small products via e-commerce by actors outside the EU…
Charles Devaux took the opportunity to highlight the operational aspect of the solution with the creation of the new alliance with SOGET, to combine the asset of its own customs solution with the tools offered by this historical actor for the declaration of goods with Okiduty.
